Part-Time to Full-Time Status Change
A Benefit Event will automatically launch in Workday once your promotion is processed.
Part-time non-benefits eligible team members can enroll in CLEAR Benefits when they change from part-time to full-time.
When is my deadline to enroll?
You will have 30 days from the date of your status change to enroll.
When does coverage start?
The effective date of your CLEAR Benefits coverage will coincide with the date of your status change.
How do I enroll in benefits?
Field team members: log in to Workday through Okta.

Corporate team members: log in to Workday through Okta.
After the People Team has processed your promotion in Workday, a benefit event will automatically launch. You will have 30 days from the date of your promotion to complete the benefits event in Workday.

Once you've submitted your elections in Workday, the CLEAR Benefits Team will review and approve your elections.
Once approved, your coverage may take up to 1 week to become active with our insurance carriers.
Important note for anyone enrolling new dependent(s): you will need to submit supporting documentation (i.e. marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.) to The Benefits Help Desk at CLEARbenefits@onesourcevirtual.com.
Transferring to Another Location - California
Information for team members moving to or from California
If you are moving to/from California and are enrolled in CLEAR's medical plan, you must submit a benefit event in Workday to maintain health insurance through CLEAR.
California team members are only eligible for Kaiser medical plans.
Non-California team members are only eligible for United Healthcare (UHC) medical plans.
Puerto Rico team members are only eligible for the United Healthcare MAPFRE (UHCPR) medical plan.
If you are moving to/from California
After the People Team has processed your transfer in Workday, you must change your address and submit a life event in Workday.
You will have 30 days from your transfer date to complete the benefits event in Workday.
Begin the process by changing your address in Workday:
Step 1: Log in to Workday via Okta
Step 2: Click the Menu on the top left
Step 3: Click on Personal Information
Step 4: Click on Addresses > then Edit (top left)
Step 5: Click the pencil icon to begin editing your address
Step 6: Enter your new street address, city, state, and zip code.
Step 7: Click the blue Submit button. (You will have to click submit twice to acknowledge the tax change prompt)
An address change requires approval from your people partner. Once approved, you will need to initiate a Benefit Event.
To initiate a Benefit Event in Workday, follow these steps: HERE
Important Information:
When submitting your life event, select Moved Out of Area as the reason
Effective date of coverage: You should submit your life event with an effective date corresponding to your actual move date (not transfer date). If you enroll in UHC coverage prior to the date you leave California, you will no longer be able to visit your Kaiser providers
Cost of coverage: Please note that your cost of coverage may change with your transfer.
Moving Within California
If you are transferring to/from SFO
In order to comply with local regulations and control company healthcare costs, the Silver Medical Plan is only free at SFO.
After the People Team has processed your transfer in Workday , you will need to submit a life event in Workday within 30 days of your transfer date if you wish to re-enroll in coverage. See below for step-by-step instructions:

Paid Time Off
CA, CO, IL, LA, MA, & PR:
If you are transferring from a location in one of the states listed above, local laws may require PTO (Paid Time Off) to be paid out upon separation*. Therefore, the PTO you earned while employed at your old location will be put into an OLD PTO plan, which will not accrue. The PTO you accrue during employment at your new location will be in the PTO bucket.
You will be required to use all PTO hours in the OLD PTO plan before using the hours in the PTO bucket.
