A change in your situation — like getting married, having a baby, or losing health coverage — can make you eligible for a Qualifying Life Event (QLE), allowing you to make benefit changes outside the annual Open Enrollment Period.
Loss or gain of eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, outside private insurance, or CHIP
Turning 26 and losing coverage through a parent’s plan
Gaining coverage under an external provider

You will have 30 days from the life event date to submit your benefit elections in Workday and provide supporting documentation to The Benefits Help Desk at CLEARbenefits@onesourcevirtual.com.
Failure to comply with this 30-day deadline will result in your request being denied and your changes being reversed.

We recommend using a dummy social security number (i.e.,123-54-6789) to meet the 30-day enrollment window requirement and updating that information in Workday once its obtained.
